I've been to Bud and Alley's Restaurant and Rooftop Bar several times, but I only just realized the Taco Bar downstairs was also part of the Bud and Alley's venture. I discovered this on a recent trip when I was hungry and in search of a cheap (hopefully tasty) snack. It was a weekday afternoon in late spring and I the weather was gorgeous. The little taco bar looked so inviting tucking in the quite breezeway among the shops along the waterfront. A quick run down of the menu, a glance at the food being enjoyed by happy customers, and I was sold. I ordered a grilled steak taco ($3.75) and my boyfriend ordered two fish tacos ($4.00 each). We also ordered drinks. My taco was pretty good considering the price. Not much to be said about the vodka soda. My boyfriend noted that margarita he ordered was "okay." I was a little shocked when I saw the bill... $30 bucks! Wow, I thought, these drinks are just high as the drinks at Bud and Alley's. And that was the exact moment I looked at the cup in my hand and realized that the Taco Bar was indeed, related to Bud and Alley's Restaurant. I don't think I'll be back.

As a huge fan of Mexican food, I was excited to try this place as the first stop on out visit to 30A. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was less than impressed with this place. The grilled shrimp taco wasn't bad, but the grilled baja fish taco, queso, and rice & beans were mediocre at best. On the plus side there was open outdoor seating to accommodate our big group without a wait. But bottom line, I could have spent less and had a better meal at Taco Bell.

I would have given 5 stars if not for the high price!! I love the food.... Never had something I didn't like. My favorite item is the vegetarian taco and the steak taco. Burrito is awesome and very large.... I couldn't finish it! Chips are good... Wish there was larger portions of salsa! We eat here about 3 times a year... And live within a 20 minute drive! I don't mind the gratuity being included in my bill..... But do like to know that upfront so I don't double tip.....which is what they are banking on!!! Knowing how much the guys behind the bar make.... (Because I just know)...... They should be ever accommodating to their customers. Which for me has always been the case. My exact rating goes like this..... Food- 5 stars Price- 3 stars Quality- 5 stars Authenticity- 5 stars Employees- 4 stars Menu Options- 4 stars

Shorter wait times here than the surrounding restaurants. I thought it was confusing to know where to order - we were told, "Decide and get in line!" Alrighty then. Frozen house margarita was yum. Tacos (baja, shrimp, carnitas) were fine, but nothing special.

  • Walt G.

We saw the 2.5 star rating and decided that was one star too many. Place is terrible. Food is bland. Run by teenagers who don't seem to give a damn...

  • Steve E.

FANTASTIC shrimp tacos. Super ordinary shrimp burrito. Expensive. But I would go back for a couple shrimp tacos and modela's. There is no ambience. You're close to the beach! What else do you need if you're eating shrimp tacos and having a cold bottle of suds?

    (3)
  • Bill S.

Muy bien! Awesome street style tacos. There is nothing bad on the menu. They have become an annual tradition. I recommend the basic chicken for beginners. The guacamole is good too. It's a little pricey but you won't find better tacos.

Welcome to Seaside - if you can't handle the 15% gratuity, well, you're in the wrong place. I mean, folks, really ... 15%? If you have brains enough to READ what is right in front of you, then you're getting off easy. We tip 18%+ mostly. Those of you who had a complaint about this should be ashamed. Seaside is filled with kiddos with little or no supervision. Parents send the kids off with a $20 for dinner! They have no idea, at 11, that they should tip. And, yes, Seaside is THAT safe - you can do that here - it's paradise. You all should consider yourselves blessed that you only had to pay 15%. And if you paid more, well ... I'm sure the guys at the Taco Bar appreciate your "generosity"! (and I'll leave it at that) Now --- on to what is important about this place. For starters, it's GREAT Mexican at the beach! They make some OH-so-tasty margaritas. And they're real - not some mix junk. Lime, tequila and whatever else you want in there. They had my favorite tequila, too. (SALUD!!). And this is just STEPS from the beach, right up George's Gulch, so, if you're thirsty, go grab one and bring it back to the beach. It's a TACO B-A-R. REAL casual. You order, take your seat with your yummy margarita, then they bring it to you - pretty simple. Cheese dip is some of the best I have had. Guac has good spice to it. Chips are fresh and crunchy. Fish tacos are great. We have a little place called The Cantina here in BHM, and it's about the same kind of variety - different spices though. Very tasty. The Taco Bar in Seaside is not expensive. There are other "walk ups" in the vicinity that don't have near the TASTE this place does, and it will run you about $9 for a hamburger in the hi-season. Easy, convenient, fast, hot, and Kick-___ margaritas! MUST DO dinner for me (more than one night!) when I'm in Seaside! Make it your must do for Mexican at the beach too!

Food was OK at best. the consistency of the salsa verde was a little scary, like it cam from a can that was opened a week or so ago. The fish on the fish taco had a similar look and texture to it. And yes...the 15% tip is annoying.

    (2)
  • Deborah J.

Very very underwhelming. Fish tacos were dry and falling apart, in fact most ended up on the plate because the tortillas fell apart --so annoying. It is imperative that any beach town have delicious fish tacos--they were NOT found here. Yuck! Also split a chicken burrito with my boyfriend also YUCK. Am I just spoiled with amazing food in Seattle? For a rich little beach down, you'd think they would have better food! There wasn't really any service, we ordered up front, and ordered to go. Can't comment on anything else...

  • Emily H.

GREAT tacos. I had the baja fish and the shrimp and they were light, fresh, extremely flavorful and still rather filling. My mom had the taco salad and said it was just ok, but we were all impressed with the margaritas. Every ingredient that went into the 'ritas was fresh, hand squeezed, deliciousness. The guacamole was good too. It's a little pricier (around $4 per taco) but that's to be expected in this neck of the woods. Be forewarned, this is an outdoor food stand. There's plenty of seating at colorful picnic tables or just around the corner in an outdoor pergola, but if you're looking for something more highbrow this may not be the ticket. That being said, it was wonderful sitting outside, feeling the beach breeze, sipping drinks and eating seafood tacos, plus the general ambiance of downtown Seaside is so quaint that it made this the perfect last place to eat before we ended our trip.

    (4)
  • Michaeleen W.

Good fish tacos, even better quaso dip and sangria. Outdoor seating. 15% is added to each check, which is a little annoying because I like to determine my own tip. Neat location, close to the beach and city center. Great for a quick lunch before you hit the beach.

    (3)
  • Kelly W.

Dry, flavorless tacos and a completely lazy set of servers (at least the few I had wed night). Customer service could stand to improve!

    (1)
  • Michelle N.

The food was good but nothing to write home about...not sure why there was a 15% gratuity added mainly because you stand in line to order at the counter and you clear your table. Yes they bring the food to your table but that's all they do. There isnt any wait staff checking on customers. I love to leave a good tip if there is someone to tip but in this case the 15% seemed overkill. Plus they have a TIP JAR at the register! ! You shouldn't have a tip jar if you are automatically adding 15% gratuity.

    (3)
  • Tim B.

The food is good-way overpriced- I think the reason they add a 15 percent gratuity is so the employees can be rude to paying customers and still get paid.

    (1)
  • Mike A.

In theory this place is awesome! In realty it's a great location, great idea that is one of the most overpriced, mediocre service place I've been to. Place Is a very small shack with counter service. 4 tacos, 4 margaritas and chips were $90 something dollars. That is correct. A meal that should have been at most maybe $50 was almost $100. What drives me most crazy about this place is the mandatory 15% tip that is added for counter service. Shame on you Bud and Alley for gouging your customers.

    (1)
  • Rick C.

Avoid. I expect a certain degree of gouging at the beach, but the food was terrible. Fish tacos tasted like the sort of fare one would expect from a Taco Bell. Went to Barefoot BBQ across the street and thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ nachos.

    (1)
  • Julia F.

Liked my food but it was overpriced for the portions and quality. I did enjoy my shrimp tacos and margarita was fantastically made.

    (3)
  • Tanya C.

The food quality is good but the portions are small and overpriced for what is served. The Taco Bar is a fun part of a visit to Seaside but don't stop in just for the food.

    (3)
  • Lonnie T.

Gouged us for a tip and its self serve! Added 15 percent to the bill at checkout. They are pretty impressed with themselves here.

    (1)
  • Carmen S.

The tacos were decent, but they are overpriced and an automatic service charge is added to the check. There's no reason for that service charge when only your food is given to you with no follow up service. While I liked the tacos, I was still hungry when I left. Just didn't feel that I got what I paid for and won't go back. Location is good, but there are many better eating establishments close.

    (2)
  • Daphne M.

My daughter wanted to eat at this place for the queso. The fish taco was awful, wet and runny, one hunk of dried out fish. We ate there mid afternoon on June 28, 2015. The steak burrito had chili beans on it and no rice. Service was rude, and i resented the automatic 15% tip. Chips were fresh and salty, though. Go eat at a food truck!

    (1)
  • Shrader G.

The tacos were very good however it is at least $4 for one small taco. The chips and salsa/queso/guacamole are also overpriced. The good was very good however it was a little too expensive for my taste. The service was very friendly and helpful. I would go back but I would probably stick to the tacos and skip the chips.

    (3)
  • Clayton B.

As many have said before, the tacos are underwhelming and ice cold. I had one shrimp and one fish. The staff is pretty cold, too. The real icing on the cake, though, is the included gratuity. This applies to everything ordered at the bar (there is no table service here). It is one thing to include gratuity (I'm fine with that); it is another to surreptitiously include it. This place does the latter. I threw a few bucks in the tip jar. The employee saw this and thanked me. He could have mentioned that the receipt that I was about to receive already had gratuity added. A few bucks won't make or break anyone, obviously. It's the principle. I just want people to be aware the this is how these swindlers do business. If I can keep one person from being conned by them I'll be happy.

    (1)
  • Ashton H.

Food great service awful... The cashier was rude... The ordering was unorganized... I think those guys need better air conditioning because they were sweaty and grump mumps

    (3)
  • Amanda D.

Could be so much better. The fish taco while fresh was very much missing something, searching for an identity. The chorizo tacos were scary, the amount of grease was enough to make you want to throw up. Who wants to eat a grease taco with their hands!?!

    (1)
  • Dan C.

The food here is good but not great. I had 2 tacos and my wife had the taco salad. Neither of us were really impressed and the food was the best part. My sangria tasted like a children's koolaid there was so much sugar it was undrinkable. The smell of the bar area was the worst. Almost overpowering and reminded me of the smell of a college bar during the day. Also there was a roach crossing the floor during our meal. There are enough other options in seaside that this place can be avoided.

    (2)
  • Jacqueline M.

I was so surprised to see negative reviews here, because this place is my favorite Mexican place ever. In the whole world. Their queso, and vegetarian burritos, and beans and rice are all perfect and definitely worth the money. When I go on vacation there, I will literally go here for lunch every day. Also, everything is expensive in Seaside, but I think it's definitely worth it.

    (5)
  • Chris B.

Decent food. They were way understaffed and it took forever to get seated and served. They were not properly prepared for the Fall break wave of customers...

  • Christi P.

Don't leave any valuables unattended at your table! My friend saw a kid leave some expensive ray bans at the table next to ours. She gave them to a waiter to turn in to their manager. The kid came back looking for them and the waiter lied to his face and said he didn't have them. My friend said yes you do! I handed them to you! Management got involved and did nothing. They apparently are in on it. The police should have been called. Poor kid never got his glasses back. Flat out lying and thievery going on in the restaurant, no telling what's going on in the kitchen!

  • James R.

Very good burritos and tacos in the Mega Complex of Bud and Alleys Inc. Yes, the 15% 'take away' gratuity for no service is outrageous. Plus there are beach fees, SVA fees and high sales tax. 6 tacos and 4 drinks for lunch...$85! On the other hand, not many taco joints serve Markers Mark at 11 in the morning.

    (3)
  • Belle B.

Nice staff and decent service, but may be the worst taco I have ever had. Really disappointed. The grocery store has better tacos.

    (1)
  • Mrs. E.

Really good tacos. Fun atmosphere. Ordering is a little hectic and disorganized. Food is very good though. We always stop by here when in seaside.

    (3)
  • Nathan W.

Their Baja fish taco is amazing as well as their guacamole. Was hoping to get a mojito but settled for a white sangria and I am glad that I did....delicious! We've eaten there twice during our trip. Highly recommend the taco bar for a casual meal.

  • Steve W.

We've had Bud and Alley's pizza bar before and decided to try the taco bar. The fish tacos were nearly inedible and my brother in law actually left one whole one on the table. It was bland and seemed old. The chorizo taco was average at best. The wait staff were giggling the whole time. Our price for 4 tacos and two drinks was $34 which included a $4 tip for some reason. The saving grace was the queso dip that our relative ordered. Please save your money.

    (1)
  • S M.

The breakfast burrito was excellent. As well as the carnitas. However, the fish and shrimp were just ok. Is eat here again -- quick service.

    (4)
  • Frank G.

I love this place. It's a little hole-in-the-wall, but cleaner than your typical hole-in-the-wall. The food is delicious, the margaritas are textbook and the beer is cold. You're close enough to the beach to smell the salt in the air, but chillin' in the shade eating carnitas tacos and grilled shrimp burritos. The only thing that would be better is if they'd put up a few televisions so people could watch football. I've never had a bad experience here; the food and the staff are top notch. I don't know what all the fuss is about with the gratuity, 15% is the minimum you cheapskates need to be tipping, anyway! If you want half-assed service and Third World tacos, make a "run for the border," so to speak. If you want the real deal in a chill setting, come stuff your face with tacos at Bud & Alley's.

    (5)
  • Andrew D.

Too expensive like everything in Seaside, but considering you're right on the beach, and it's much cheaper than everything else around it, you can't go wrong. I got fish tacos this time and they were spot on.

    (4)
  • Greg S.

If you're new to Seaside, just know this: if you stop at one of these cute tourist trap outdoor restaurants on the beach side near the main intersection in Seaside, most of them are owned by the same conglomerate and you're going to be charged a lot for a little. The food here is unremarkable....unless you've never had a taco from a taco truck (where's it would set you back $1.50 on the high side). Five tacos and a short vodka drink will set you back $32 from this walk-up taco stand, because they automatically tack on a 15% gratuity on top of the standard tourist destination taxes. For the automatic gratuity the servers claim on each and every order, the service is what you can expect from people who don't need you and are just biding there time here before they have to return to whatever they left behind in the real world. You have to also figure most people don't see the sign and don't know until it's too late that their cashier has already taken their tip and leave an additional tip. All of this for taking your order and a server dropping off your food...like McDonald's when they're running behind and you have to wait. While the other side of the argument is that if you're in Seaside, you should just pay whatever is charged and shut up, I don't know anyone at any level of wealth that doesn't recognize fair value and is just OK with being pick pocketed just because you're "here." If you're at a restaurant on the beach with good quality food, liquor and amazing atmosphere...ok; but this is a taco stand with no atmosphere, fast food service and average tacos. Having said that, the "actual" walk-up food stands right across the street in Airstream row are just fine and fair-priced. Just like this Taco Bar hot mess across the street, they are serving decent fast food. Unlike "Taco Bar the Door," their prices are more inline with the product they're serving and the service you're getting.

    (1)
  • Matt C.

Visited for lunch. The food was excellent! The service was very fast! We had the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, and beef burrito. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos! The only negative was the prices.

    (4)
  • Jen H.

All of our tacos were cold , the soup was also cold so they re- made the whole order and it was still all cold and still not very good either . We won't be going back

    (2)
  • Vlad G.

not sure if this is a chain or just a mexican place owned by the same people who own almost all the beachfront eateries in this complex in front of seaside's main rotunda but the quality was below average, with average prices. there are much better casual places to eat within 500 yards, for example the food trucks across the street. but the thing that really brings this to one star is that the tip is included on the bill. although there is a sign on the wall and it might be indicated on the receipt, when I left 20% on the additional tip field, nobody pointed out to me that it was already included. and for a place with no table service, a tip is not warranted but i felt generous... but not 40% generous... a practice that should be illegal in my view. even in this country.

    (1)
  • Jerry C.

We found the Tacos to be good, not great. But I agree with everyone else about the mandatory gratuity. Adding 15% when you order at the counter like McDonald's just chaps me. Of course, the first person in our party missed the sign and added an additional tip to our check. I bet that happens often.

    (2)
  • John A.

Great shrimp and carnitas (pork) tacos, nice casual open air atmosphere. Fresh ingredients, lively flavor. Though, the guys taking orders could use a lesson on being friendlier. Some may say it's a little overpriced and complain about the 15% tip that's "automatically added" but hey, you're on vacation, and Seaside isn't cheap but just go!

    (3)
  • Leslie M.

We eat here every year on vacation. It's a nice mid week break from the restaurant scene. Quick, easy and tasty.

    (3)
  • Ray S.

Food very basic and VERY expensive. Much better options in Seaside.

    (2)
  • Nick W.

30 bucks for 2 tacos, soup, soda and chips is somewhat ridiculous. Don't ya' think?

    (3)
  • Rachel R.

Tried this place out with my sister when I was visiting her. The vegetarian tacos for $3 are a pretty decent deal and they were good. The mandatory gratuity is a little excessive for a place that doesn't wait on you or clean up after you. It's Seaside, though, and people are practically throwing money out of the windows of their Hummers, so no one probably even notices. For four tacos, chips and guacamole and two sangrias, we paid $40, including the $5 grat that was included. It's outside, kind of a "food stand" style. You place your order at a counter, they give you a number and then bring the food to your table. I'd skip the mediocre $8 a glass sangria next time...or maybe just go somewhere else. Like Raw & Juicy.

    (3)
  • John G.

The only thing good about this meal was the ambience. Everything was bland and tasteless... Even the salsa and chorizo burrito. How you can actual make those things bland... I have no idea, but they were. Agree with a previous review that Taco Bell would have been better. 2 tacos, 1 burrito, beans and rice, and 2 beers = 34 dollars.

    (2)
  • Sean M.

Hate to leave a 1-star review, but we had a 1-star meal. Thin greasy chips, plastic cup of mediocre cheese dip, subpar salsa, tacos stuffed with stringy dry fish, and an inedible steak taco. Good concept poorly executed. Money would be better spent at Taco Bell.

    (1)
  • Lisa H.

As a local of 30A as well as a Seaside resident it makes me happy, happy, happy that when I find myself in need of a fish taco I do not have far to go. Just a hop, skip and jump from my home and gallery in Ruskin Place to the Taco Bar. The staff is amazing, never a long wait, and the option of a margarita makes this one of my fav places in Seaside. Call ahead and get your order to go...head to the beach and enjoy not only some great tacos. But a pretty amazing sunset as well!! Kudos Dave, well done!

    (4)
  • Bryan G.

We're locals and don't usually eat at the tourist traps, but we had a bogo coupon and decided to try it. Well, we ordered two burritos, two drinks and chips/salsa. The check was $22 after the discount and a forced 15% tip! Wait, it gets better... We asked for drink refills and they made us bring our own glasses back to the bar for the refill!!! WTF did I have to pay a 15% forced tip when the staff wasn't going to do crap? We even had to clean our own table. By the way, the food was mediocre at best, no seasoning and stale chips, and presentation was excellent if you like your food in a paper tub like you'd get at the fair. Save your money and find a Taco Bell.

    (1)
  • Eric G.

Ordered the shrimp tacos. Wife ordered the chicken tacos. Daughter ordered the steak tacos (no ground beef tacos available). Two of the three orders were undercooked and mine were just plain cold. First and last time to eat here.

    (2)
  • Scott B.

A solid option for near-beach lunch food. The chorizo tacos were my favorite, but the other tacos were also tasty. It's convenient; it's pretty quick; it's pretty good. I think that's as much as you can ask for from a walk up bar.

    (3)
  • Rod and Nancy C.

Fish tacos were delicious, but the drinks were watered down and/or weak and the mandatory tip added in to the ticket is not very encouraging to those who may want to come back. THE TIP IS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED IN REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF THE PARTY!! I am sure they have their reasons, but we paid them a visit and prefer to tip generously when served with a smile and prompt service. We have passed by Bud and Alley's on our last two trips to 30-A.

I'd probably give 3.5 stars if I could. Nothing amazing, but definitely solid. Surprised at some of the one-star reviews. I should caveat that I was the first customer of the day, just after they opened on a Saturday in late August, after most of the touristos were gone. Had my sights set on a Fish Taco, so ordered up a brace. Their advice is "one's a snack, two are a meal." I would agree. Not skimpy by any means, and not gigantic either. Maybe just because I was the first order of the day, but the tacos were piping hot and fresh. The thin white corn tortilla was perfectly lightly grilled. Big hunk of grilled whitefish. Pico, cilantro, lime wedge, and some avocado mayo chilled out next to the fish. Just a very sold fish taco. If I had to critique, I would say it was just a wee bit on the bland side. The fish itself wasn't bursting with flavor and could maybe have benefited from some marinade or spices or something. Due to the minor blandness of the fish, I would have appreciated a greater portion of the accoutrements. But I would definitely recommend it for a solid fish taco. They're 4 bucks apiece, and they add 15% gratuity automatically. Pricey, but everything in Seaside is.

  • Robert M.

Nice attempt. However... I guess you can say these tacos aren't so bad for beach grub. But they weren't great either. I got 2 carnitas and 1 chorizo. My wife got 2 fish tacos. Also got the chips, salsa and guac. OK, so the chips, salsa and guac were the high point. Downhill from there. The fish tacos didn't taste fresh. The carnitas were overcooked and flavorless, even the onions and cilantro couldn't help these. I would say the chorizo was the best of the lot. The tortilla was not sturdy at all. Fell apart at the seams. I'll give them this though...they did fill the tacos to the top with meat, they didn't skimp. Overall though, these need work. We need to send them over to Buford Hwy. in Atlanta for some training wheels. There is a major problem in Seaside, for such a beautiful town that obviously had a ton of planning involved....they sure don't think food is very important. This town is devoid of good eats. What a shame. It seriously needs an open air casual seafood joint with views of the gulf and FRESH fish. OH well...can't have it all I guess!

It has become an annual tradition for my AXO pal and me to run the seaside half marathon in Florida. It has also become an annual tradition to eat fresh fish tacos from the little taco bar at the finish of the race. Love the tacos, love the heat lamps, love the margaritas, perfect finish to a 13 mile jog! (service could be friendlier.. That would get the taco bar that fifth star)

    (4)
  • Benjamin C.

Bad taco they make burritos and call it a taco small portions of meat. Made you pay a tip on a to go place a surcharge and then you get to the tax. And they are 4times the price for bad food. Stay away

We stopped here for a quick late afternoon bite while strolling around Seaside. Cute little place, enjoyed the outdoor seating and atmosphere. Ordered a couple tacos, chips and salsa, and everything was pretty decent. I really enjoyed the fresh tortilla chips more then anything. Just a nice spot on a sunny afternoon. I know there's a lot of comment on here about the automatic 15% gratuity. I am all for it, I work in the service industry and totally understand where people would probably tip 0% because its "takeout". We on the other hand just totally missed the sign, didn't even pay attention when signing the bill and only noticed afterward when we were sitting outside waiting for our food. So on top of leaving an automatic 15%, we had also tipped 20%, leaving a pretty hefty tip for delivering 3 tacos (we carried our drinks out and cleared the garbage). I just wish it had been acknowledged when we were handed our bill. I would've left MORE then the 15%, but just don't feel comfortable that we unknowingly left a full tip on top of it. AGAIN, I am all for an added gratuity, I just think it should be made clear, and I know its posted on signs, but who knows how many people are as blind as us, focused on getting a taco and cerveza and don't even pay attention.

It's pretty good, just authentic tacos and "Amexican" food staples. Good spot for a quick lunch with an ice cold Corona as you people watch the good people of Seaside and their dogs stroll by the shops on a breezy summer day.

I had a fish taco and my husband had a steak taco. both $4, which is expected here in Seaside....I didn't think that was much but my husband was expecting Moe's sized tacos....and they aren't that size. not even close. but they were flavorful...and the tortillas were VERY good. But the drinks were crazy expensive! I got an (8oz) mango margarita that was $10.50! Go across the street to the silver streamer and get a very tasty (12oz!) $7 margarita. but bring your drink back to Bud and Alley's Taco Bar for a taco.

    (3)
  • Angi R.

I could have made this meal for far less but this place is reasonably priced as far as food in Seaside goes ($23 for four tacos, sodas and a shared side w/ automatic 15% gratuity). I got the carnitas tacos and an order of rice and beans. My friend had grilled fish tacos. Everything was freshly prepared and very flavorful. Even the tortillas were good quality.

Grilled shrimp taco was tasty, but the fried fish taco had no flavor. Wish they had used a double layer of tortillas since the tacos completely fell apart after the second bite. As others have mentioned, there is no service here, but a mandatory 15% gratuity fee is added when you order. Hmmm... Overall, the food was so-so and pricey.

Food was good and ok as far as the price goes, but the drinks ( sangria & beer) is almost as much as the food. A little too much !

Great grilled fish taco! The chorizo taco was swimming in grease, so I'd pass on that one.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
